ALL MY LOVING
CREAM FAREWELL CONCERT
GINGER BAKER IN AFRICA

The Grand Closing Night of the festival features a triple delight of films by idiosyncratic British filmmaker Tony Palmer. Star attraction is the (very belated) US Premiere of Palmer’s controversial 1968 film “All My Loving” featuring specially-shot footage (never seen in the US) of the Beatles, Cream, Hendrix, Floyd, Who, Zappa and more in a tour-de-force that outraged the UK establishment and was deemed too controversial for the USA. The idea for the film was suggested to Palmer by John Lennon - and Palmer secured the participation of the Beatles. Paul McCartney was among many who expressed delight with the finished movie. Also being screened are two of Palmer’s other films including his kinetic movie of Cream’s 1968 farewell concert. Tony Palmer is flying in from London to be with us especially for this occasion! CLOSING-NIGHT PARTY: After the films - come to our Closing-Night Party & Jam next door in the Mods & Rockers Clubhouse! Strawberry Alarm Clock and Spencer Davis will play! Open till 2am!
