The MODS & ROCKERS 2002
Fave Actors Guide
The films in the festival spotlight an astonishing array of British and
American actors. And one or two thespians from other lands too! So check
out the movies featuring your favorites!
Several of the actors are associated with more than one film in the
festival. And sometimes an actor is involved with a movie in a capacity
other than acting - such as writing, producing or music scoring. With
this A-Z list - you can check out all the films relating to all the
principal actors.
There are capsule descriptions to help identify certain performers -
such as character actors or British talent - who might be more familiar
to you by a description of their other work than by their name.

TOMMY
-
Jane Asher
-
One of the most respected British actresses over the past 40 years.
Primarily in theatre, with some memorable film and TV roles to her
credit. First came to attention of broader public because she was also
Paul McCartney's girlfriend in the early-to-mid 60's. She still works
consistently in theatre - and also runs an upmarket London bakeshop and
mail-order biz.
Here's where you order an Asher dessert!
Since 1981 Asher has been married to
British caricaturist/artist Gerald Scarfe - familar to Pink Floyd fans
for his work on "Pink Floyd: The Wall."

Briefly the iconic TV talk show host of the 60's. To the mid-60's UK

Georgie Fame
- VERY hip hipster in mid-60's. His "Yeh-Yeh" single is still a blast. Had a huge hit in UK
and US with his opportunistic "Ballad Of Bonnie & Clyde" single - issued to coincide with the Warren Beatty film (though
unconnected) His promo trip to the US to promote the record (in the middle of filming "The Mini-Mob") indirectly led to the
end of his film career! Details from the director at the screening of the film!
