Classic concert performance by the Moody Blues in 1970 at the height of their ascendency as symphonic-rock pioneers. Includes all their key hits of the era - including Nights in White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon, Question, Ride My See-Saw plus interviews that reflect on the band's 45 years history from their R&B roots (Go Now) in 1965 onwards.

Conversation between films with Moody Blues co-founder Mike Pinder & filmmaker Murray Lerner. Followed by live Mellotron demo by Mike Pinder. Discussion about the Mellotron with Steve Frothingham (Bigelf), Richard Chamberlin of The Chamberlin Company (pioneers of what became the Mellotron), Woody Jackson - Mellotron player on Ocean's Twelve & Thirteen soundtracks, Dianna Dilworth (director of Mellodrama"), Brian Kehew - Who keyboard tehnician and author (Recording the Beatles). Hosted by Mods & Rockers founder/producer Martin Lewis.

Moody Blues keyboard player Mike Pinder introduced the Beatles to the mellotron who used it on their ground-breaking Sgt. Pepper album - and from there it became the definitive prog-rock instrument. This new documentary chronicles the fascinating history and features Brian Wilson (Beach Boys), Mike Pinder (Moody Blues), Rod Argent (The Zombies), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Ian McDonald (King Crimson) and members of Maroon 5, Bigelf and Yes.
