The Mods & Rockers Film Festival was launched in 1999 and has grown to become America's largest annual festival of rock-culture films. Over 300 films have been screened since 1999 - including many premieres and lost treasures. In addition to the annual summer festival - the festival present occasional special events during the year. The festival is produced and hosted by its co-founder Martin Lewis.

The American Cinematheque is a non-profit, viewer-supported, cultural organization dedicated exclusively to the public presentation on the big screen of the Moving Picture in all its forms. It is widely regarded as the premier organization of its kind in America.
The American Cinematheque was founded in 1981 - and it presents festivals and retrospectives that screen the best of worldwide cinema, video and television from the past and present - ranging from the classics to the outer frontiers of the art form.
The Cinematheque's festivals and programs are presented at its two permanent homes in Los Angeles: Grauman's Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood (first opened in 1922) and The Aero Theatre in Santa Monica (first opened in 1940).
